Skateboarder Omari Bell is speaking out after an encounter at San Francisco’s UN Plaza Skate Park that he says turned into racist remarks and hate speech with this stinky toothless old lady.
Bell posted a video of the incident online with a warning about this type of behavior, for real!
He explained that he was skating with his brother Vitya when the situation started over someone sitting on a ledge covered in melted skate wax.
According to Bell, the woman told him, “the skatepark is for everybody,” while sitting on the same wax covered ledge.
From there, the conversation went left, with the exchange eventually turning into what Bell described as racist remarks.
Bell decided to share the footage so people could hear the interaction for themselves.
He also gave some context about why the session meant more to him than just getting some clips at the park.
Bell said he relocated to San Francisco looking for better opportunities, but has spent a lot of time skating by himself because of his own experiences.

His brother Vitya came all the way up from Los Angeles so Bell would have somebody to skate with that day.
Bell shared that part of the story alongside the video, showing that the sesh was supposed to be some quality time between brothers before everything went sideways.
Now Bell is asking other skaters around San Francisco if they have dealt with similar situations at skateparks.
The question is getting skaters talking about what goes down at public skate spots and how core heads treat one another when disagreements start getting personal.
Bell’s video puts the confrontation out in the open and lets viewers hear the exchange themselves.

"TW: racism / hate speech at UN Plaza Skate Park
I was skating at the UN Plaza Skate Park with my brother Vitya and this happened. Sitting on a ledge, told me “the skatepark is for everybody” as she’s sitting on melted wax — then it turned into what you hear in the video.
I moved to San Francisco for better opportunities and been skating alone a lot already due to my personal experiences. Vitya drove all the way from LA that way I had someone to skate with 🫂
San Francisco skate community — have you dealt with this at a Skate park?"
