As we previously reported, pro skater Tom Asta gave skaters a look at the Santa Cruz x Pokémon collection in his vlog before putting the boards through a demo.
It was a pretty chill way to show both skate heads and Pokémon collectors what was coming.
Now, the wait is over.
Santa Cruz Skateboards and Pokémon Trading Card Game have officially announced that their collaboration will arrive at skate shops worldwide on October 17 at 6:00 a.m. PT and 9:00 a.m. ET.
The collection celebrates 30 years of Pokémon TCG with 30 card variants featured across the skateboards.
It also marks the first time Pokémon TCG card artwork has appeared on a skateboard, bringing classic trading card designs into the world of Santa Cruz.
For collectors, skaters, and anyone who grew up with Pokémon cards, this is one collection worth keeping an eye out for.
The global release means fans will have their chance to grab a deck when the collaboration arrives at skate shops this month.
If you have been waiting to see the full collection in person, October 17 is the date to remember.
