Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk is rocking ERL’s 90s inspired bulky skate shoes for a new Los Angeles Times feature.
ERL shared photos of Hawk wearing the California label’s latest pieces, with designer Eli Russell Linnetz behind the styling and photography.
The collection mixes oversized skate influences with tailored clothing, leather jackets, polos and other pieces inspired by an elite boarding school setting.
Birdman's appearance also fits ERL’s California roots.
The skate icon has spent decades shaping skateboarding through competition, film, video games and his work with The Skatepark Project.
The feature gives Birdman a place within Linnetz’s latest fashion world while bringing a strong skateboarding connection to the collection.
