As we previously reported, skateboarding legend Marc Johnson passed away, with pro skaters, family, friends and fans sharing tributes following his death.

Jerry Hsu also launched a GoFundMe to help Marc’s family cover funeral and memorial costs, travel, estate related expenses, and other expenses following his passing.

Now, another tribute has arrived in Winston Salem, North Carolina, with a new mural honoring the local legend.
Salem Skate Supply shared photos of the mural, created by artist Scott Nurkin in Downtown Winston Salem.
A shoutout also went to Tonia and Salem Organic Supply for helping secure the wall for the tribute.
Marc’s legacy continues to live on in the city where his story began.
