In a recent post, Wilson said the relationship was extremely abusive and that what happened had a lasting effect on her life.

She also said this was not the first time she had spoken about her experience.

According to Wilson, she previously came forward but was later made to remove what she had shared by the person she identified as her abuser.

This time, Wilson says she will not stay silent.

She explained that she wants to continue sharing her story while also advocating for people who have experienced domestic violence.

Wilson said she has developed CPTSD along with other health issues that she attributes to what she went through.

Wilson also addressed the way some skateboarders are treated within the community.

She argued that a person's ability on a skateboard should not protect them from accountability for harmful behavior.

She called on men with large platforms to speak openly about domestic violence and support survivors.

Her post did not identify the skateboarder by name.

Wilson described herself as a survivor of domestic violence and said she intends to keep speaking about her experience.

Her message focuses on accountability, support for survivors, and the need for people in skateboarding with public platforms to take domestic violence seriously.

Wilson Posted:

"From ages 16-21 I was in an extremely abusive relationship with a well know skateboarder . This abuse changed everything about my life . I’ve come forward about this before and was made to take everything down by my abuser . Today I will not be silenced anymore . I will continue to advocate for domestic abuse and tell my story . I’ve have developed cpstd along with other health issues . I will continue to speak about this subject and advocate for other survivors. . These men need to held accountable and not be put on a pedestal just because they skate good . They need to be transparent with everyone and themselves they need to advocate for dv especially if they have the platform to .

I’m a survivor of domestic violence and I will continue to speak up'
