Skateboarding Legend Willy Santos Teams Up with Preston’s Ginger Beer

The Willy's Workshop CEO has joined the California based brand for a special release that brings a Filipino inspired flavor into the mix.

Preston’s Ginger Beer has a simple family story behind it.

Founder Harry Preston first created the drink as a healthier alternative to soda for his daughter.

The recipe itself goes back even further since his grandmother used to make ginger beer for him when he was growing up.

It quickly became a favorite around the house, and extra bottles were often shared with friends. As more people tried it, word spread through the local community.

After building a loyal following, Preston’s Ginger Beer opened its brewery and taproom in Miramar in 2019.

Since then, the company has continued to grow while keeping its focus on fresh ingredients. Every blend is non alcoholic and made with real fruit, teas, and spices, giving customers a variety of flavors to choose from.

Now the company is working with Willy, whose Filipino roots helped shape the direction of the collaboration.

The special flavor celebrates that part of his background while bringing something different to the Preston’s lineup.
