YouTube sensation John Hill has officially launched his own skateboard company, Progress Daily, giving skaters another project to follow outside of his YouTube channel.
The 35 year old has built an audience through skateboarding videos, doodling, and creative projects.
Along the way, he has also spent time selling his artwork and finding different ways to turn his creative interests into successful businesses.
Now, he is bringing that same mindset into the skateboard industry with the launch of Progress Daily.
The announcement came directly from Hill on social media, where he shared a simple message with followers.
"Today I'm Launching My Skateboard Company."
The company debuted with a limited run of skateboard decks, making the first release especially exciting for longtime supporters.
Hill later revealed that many of the boards were already claimed before the public launch because he gave his email subscribers early access.
He wrote:
"Today’s the big day! I gave early access to my email subscribers and honestly, they put a pretty big dent in the inventory lol. Thank you for the INSANE amount of love on the boards so far (:"

That early response shows just how many people were waiting to support the project. Giving subscribers first access rewarded those who have followed his work for years while also helping the first collection sell quickly.
Progress Daily feels like a natural next step for someone who has spent years creating content while exploring different creative outlets.
Launching a skateboard company allows Hill to combine his love for skating with his interest in design and entrepreneurship.
With the first collection already receiving a strong response, it will be interesting to see if Progress Daily eventually builds a team of YouTube pros riding for the brand.
