Israel Skateboarding is rolling out a new instructor training program aimed at people who are deeply involved in skateboarding and want to pass their knowledge on to others.
The announcement showcase how the local skateboarding scene is growing and becoming more structured, with a clear need for experienced skaters who can guide beginners and help develop the next wave of riders.
Instead of leaving learning to informal sessions at skateparks, this program is designed to give participants a more organized path into teaching.
The course combines practical sessions at skate spots with structured coaching lessons. Participants will learn how to break down techniques, guide progress step by step, and understand how skate culture shapes learning and community.
There is also a theory component delivered online, making it easier for people to join even if they have busy schedules.
One of the main goals of the program is to provide official certification for instructors.
This helps create a standard level of teaching quality and gives skaters a recognized qualification they can use if they want to coach or run classes in the future.
The training is scheduled to run with one to two in person sessions per week along with a dedicated online theory week.
The organizers also noted that spots are limited and filling quickly, encouraging interested skaters to register early.
