This week, the action sports community is remembering BMX legend Dave Mirra and everything he gave to the community.

On April 4th, his birthday, friends, fans, and fellow athletes are celebrating his life, his achievements, and the impact he made on so many people.

To honor Dave and his rally car #40, the family and board members of the Dave Mirra Foundation have set a goal to raise $40,000.

The funds will help launch the first annual Dave Mirra Foundation flagship event this summer and support programs that provide mental health assistance, guidance, and resources.

The Foundation focuses on mental health awareness and suicide prevention, continuing Dave’s legacy in a meaningful way.

Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk joined in the tribute, highlighting how much Dave meant to the community and how his efforts continue to inspire people to care for one another.

Their connection reminds everyone that behind every BMX stunt and competition is a person who can make a difference off the bike as well.

Anyone who wants to support the cause can donate here.

If donating isn’t an option, sharing the message can help spread awareness. And for those who want to celebrate in their own way, take a ride on your bike and remember the joy Dave brought to the world.
