Pro skater Aurélien Giraud has revealed a new front piece tattoo, and it is hard to ignore the level of detail that went into it.

He recently shared a look at the finished work with a simple caption, and the artwork speaks for itself.

The piece features angel wings stretched across his chest, paired with additional elements that give it a layered and intricate look.

From the fine lines to the shading, you can tell a lot of time and planning went into getting it just right. It is the kind of tattoo that pulls your attention in the closer you look.

While Giraud did not go into the meaning behind the design, angel imagery often connects to ideas like protection and guidance.

Tattoos have always been part of skate culture, with many riders using them as a way to show personality and tell their own story.

Giraud’s new piece fits right into that tradition, and the scale and placement make it stand out even more.
