Skateboarding just got a whole new level of creativity thanks to AI, and the latest vision has everyone talking.
Imagine Jesus taking to the streets with a skateboard, shredding in places that feel holy and even skating in heaven itself.
That’s exactly what AI creator Serge Awata brought to life, blending faith, skate culture, and gnarly technology.
The response from the skate community has been everything you could hope for.

Brothers in Christ and skate legend Jamie Thomas shared his excitement, saying, “The body Varial in the clouds was the best one ever done .”

Meanwhile, Bob Burnquist couldn’t help but comment to Torey Pudwill about a particularly smooth trick, noting the “steez on the kflip out of the back lip.”
Every trick that dropped had the Christian skaters cheering and sharing, shouting phrases like “shred for Jesus” and joking that heaven itself must have a halfpipe.
Faith and skateboarding culture struck a chord with everyone who has skated the streets. Somehow it felt magical.
Serge Awata posted about the project online, giving credit to the AI tools that helped craft it:
“Shredder of shreds made with @openart_ai @higgsfield.ai @imagineartofficial”
The project shows how AI can take imagination and turn it into visuals that feel alive, playful, and spiritually uplifting all at once.
The streets have never looked quite like this before.
This isn’t just about skating or AI. It’s about letting imagination run with your faith in the Lord, having fun, and showing that even the most unexpected ideas can hit hard.
Jesus on a board might be something no one thought they needed, but now no one can stop watching.
