Snoop Dogg just leveled up again.
According to reports, The Doggfather is now officially Team USA’s first Honorary Coach and he’s bringing that LA street flavor straight to the Team Behind the Team.
This isn’t about running drills or drawing plays it’s about showing love, dropping wisdom, and hyping up the athletes as they head to Milano Cortina 2026.
Snoop has always been about sport his Snoop Youth Football League has helped thousands of kids get their grind on and learn the ropes of teamwork and discipline.
But it’s not just football Snoop has been skating through life literally. Back in the mid 2000s he was seen rocking the Baker Skateboards "Baked" board.
Recently he’s been posting clips of himself skating the streets experimenting with AI skateboarding keeping it real and showing that passion and creativity don’t age.
“I’m just here to cheer these athletes on bring some laughs and maybe drop a little knowledge,” Snoop said. “These people are already doing big things I just want to make it fun and give them a little extra fire.”
Team USA CEO Sarah Hirshland said the connection was instant. “Snoop gets it he connects with the athletes on a real level and lifts people up. It’s a perfect fit and we are glad to have him rolling with the team.”
Beyond cheering he’s helping shine a light on the Team USA Fund which supports athletes directly from mental health to training to life after competition.
Every dollar goes straight to the programs that help them chase their dreams and stay strong on and off the field.
He’s also cooking up a Coach Snoop x Team USA collection with Fanatics letting fans grab some gear and support the athletes at the same time. Sales start this December and a portion of the proceeds goes back to Team USA.
Snoop’s role isn’t just for show he knows how important it is to have support a squad and a mindset. He’s all about showing up whether it’s hyping up someone before a big moment or helping them figure out what’s next after the medals are won.
