The last of the Piss Drunx Dustin Dollin does not care what anyone thinks.

The Piss Drunx legend has always been open about his lifestyle, and he is not interested in impressing anyone or rewriting history. He said it himself: “Half the best tricks I ever done was drunk as f*ck.”

Dollin explained that almost every time he was on tour, the crew was drinking beers at every spot. “Everywhere with my crew,” he said. It was just how things were. He described himself as a pro drinker, but also made it clear that it never got out of hand.

“As long as you don’t take it too far and too messy,” he said, it was fine. And when it did get messy, he added, “But when you’re with your family of like skaters that like drink all day, if you get too messy, at least you have friends that watch your back.”

Even with all that drinking, Dollin was never the type to pressure people into it. “I don’t tell people to drink,” he said. “When you’re having a good time, you drink, you know?”

That is the way it always was for him. He is not trying to be a spokesperson for anything. He respects people who do not drink, especially if it has been damaging to their lives. At the same time, he said that for him, drinking helped him feel more relaxed. “I overthink things,” he said, and beer takes the edge off.

The 44-year-old compared alcohol to other ways people try to cope. “People have different vices in life,” he said. For Dollin being drunk is way better as it’s natural than chemical. He talked about how others might take Xanax or weed, but for him, beer works better.

Dollin made it clear that he never had public issues. He never harmed anyone in the streets or acted wild to the point where it became a problem. He always had a sense of control, even during the wildest times.

What he wanted from life was simple. Skateboarding with friends. Good times. Not overthinking everything. A beer in hand, maybe a few more. And knowing that when it all got too much, there were people around who had his back.

Dollin never set out to be a role model. He is just being honest about what worked for him. The stories are not about pretending to be perfect. They are about being real, skating hard, drinking beer, and staying true to who you are.

And in his own words, “Half the best tricks I ever done was drunk as f*ck.” No one can take that away from him.
