David Gonzalez is back with more gnarly bars.
This time, he’s not just out stacking clips, he’s been in the studio too. The 2012 Skater of the Year, who now goes by Young Guns 21 when he’s on the mic, just dropped a new track called “EL MOMENTO.”
It’s got that same raw style he brings to skating, mixed with some legit guitar work and smooth flow.
We’ve been seeing more skaters getting into music, and rap seems to be the most natural transition.
Just like Lil Uzi Vert or Soulja Boy picking up a deck and getting some clips, skaters like Young Guns 21 are proving that you can move between cultures and still stay true to who you are.
And while some might still be catching up to the idea of skater-rappers being legit, Young Guns 21 is already a few steps ahead.
He's putting in the work, staying true to the streets, and reminding everyone that skateboarding and rap go together.
Don’t sleep on this one so stream the music below, homies!
