Professional skateboarder Brian Wenning is back on his board after being away for quite a while.
Having recently been released from prison on parole, Wenning is now skating the streets again.
This time with an ankle monitor but a fresh start.
In a recent Instagram story, Wenning shared something that caught him off guard: he learned that DC Shoes, the brand that once sponsored him, aren’t made in the U.S. but in Vietnam.
He casually mentioned, “Haven’t skated in 7 years,” showing just how much time has passed since he last hit the pavement.
Despite everything, Wenning seems to be making the most of his freedom.
With his Electronic tagging on, he’s keeping things low-key and steering clear of trouble, but that doesn’t stop him from shredding.
It’s clear he’s still got the skills and love for skating, and now he’s getting back into the rhythm one trick at a time.
Life might have taken him on a rough path, but he is back out there, enjoying the simple joy of skating again.
No rush, no big announcements. Just the good homie on his board, living in the moment.
