Plan B Skateboards' pro skateboarder Chris Joslin came through with a well-deserved win at the SLS Santa Monica Men’s Finals, reminding everyone why he’s one of the most consistent and hard-working skaters out there.
The contest drew in heavy hitters from across the globe, but Joslin kept things locked in from the start, landing trick after trick with his signature style and power.
The other finalists threw down as well, keeping the contest tight. There were a few close calls and switch-ups on the scoreboard from second-place finisher Shane O'Neill and Angelo Caro, who took third, but Joslin’s consistency kept him just ahead.
The crowd in Santa Monica was stoked, and the skaters showed plenty of respect to each other all the way through the event. Even in such a competitive space, there was plenty of mutual support and good laughs between runs.
With this win, Joslin continues to stay in the mix for the top rankings this year. He’s not always the flashiest in interviews or social media, but when it comes time to skate, he shows up and delivers. That’s exactly what he did at Santa Monica.
