Cowtown Skateboards wrapped up another killer weekend at Desert West Skatepark for the 23rd annual Phoenix AM, and the women’s division came through with some serious heat.

Taking the top spot this year was Japan’s Liz Akama, who put down an insane run that had the crowd going wild.

Right behind her, 12-year-old Evie Pritchard showed she’s got skills way beyond her years, locking in second place.

Rounding out the podium, Kylie Frank brought her own flavor to the course and secured third.

Liz’s winning run was packed with style, mixing big tricks such as frontside bigspin, massive backside lipslide, frontside hurricane and more.

Whether it was her consistency, trick selection, or ability to read the course like a pro, she made it clear why she deserved the top spot.

Pritchard, at just 12, came through with a gnarly approach, throwing down a mix of clean rail tricks and well-executed lines that kept her score high.

Frank’s run balanced power and control, proving why she earned her place in the top three.

With Phoenix AM being a major proving ground for up-and-coming skaters, this year’s event was stacked with talent.

The competition was tight, and every skater brought something fresh to the mix. The ladies put on a show, and if this contest is any indication, the future of women’s skateboarding is looking bright.

Big props to Cowtown Skateboards for putting together another sick event, and congrats to all the skaters who came out and threw down. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
