Nike Appears To Pull Back on Celebrating Pride Month Following Public Backlash

Nike seems to have reduced its support for Pride Month after facing criticism from critics.

As we previously reported, Adidas launched its Pride Month collection without incorporating the LGBTQIA+ rainbow on its products this year.

As a result, it appears that Nike has decided to scale back its celebration of Pride Month after receiving backlash for supporting the rainbow movement.

Forbes reported that Nike, which received criticism last year for featuring Mulvaney in a sports bra and leggings in an ad, has yet to share a Pride post on Instagram.

Although the company advertised its annual "Be True" Pride merchandise on June 1 last year, it's worth noting that Nike's "Be True" website only mentions its 2023 collection, and there's only one "Be True" shirt available for purchase on its online store.
