Skateboarding legend Steve Alba has been offering to clean swimming pools in California to residents in exchange for skating it with the homies.
CBS Evening News reporter Carter Evans spoke to Salba and Ozzie Osband about finding the perfect pool.
They will scan satellite images of a bowl-shaped swimming pool and then knock on the doors to ask if they can clean it.
The legend revealed that what started as a joke became a way for responsible skateboarders to give back without risking getting kicked out skating a a pool.
After the joke plan worked, decades later, they perfected their pitch, including signing a liability paper to avoid any lawyers or suing involvement.
As a result of their hard work and giving back, the homeowners were thrilled as the OG skaters were kind enough to help them clean while also having fun.
Carter also took the slam like a G and the legends congratulated him for not backing down.
