YouTube skater Jason Park responded to Jeff DeChesare for calling him a snitch "I'm like okay so Jason Park died me out. Okay that's cool," DeChesare said in his interview with Lamont Holt about the NKA Vids trash talk situation.
As we previously reported, DeChesare called out The Nine Club Podcast host Chris Roberts and now Park had to respond and gave all the history and has receipts about their beef.
Back in 2014, in the Happy Medium premier, YouTube skaters Park and DeChesare met each other, shook hands, talked for a while and, skated their way. "I thought he seems like a chill guy," Park said.
However, after skate legend Tony Hawk's RIDE Channel released Park's part called "The Big Mahalo video," which he said that it was one of his favorite projects that he worked on - RIDE Channel usually post the little snippets to promote the video and called his trick NBD.
The trick posted was frontside big flip/frontside bigspin kickflip. "Obviously, I knew this was not an NBD, of course. It's been done before." Park explained, "I guess it was just whoever at RIDE Channel's way of trying to promote the video."
After the video part was released, Park was pleased, due to all his hard work and dedication, that it finally had traction online.
When Park was in Hawaii, his good homie Holden called to inform him what DeChesare posted, comparing his "frontside big flip/frontside bigspin kickflip" trick with NBD and a question mark. There's also a big letter on DeChesare's video saying "NO," one-upping Park with a switch but with a receipt of an older date (2008) that Dechasare did it first before Park.
Unfortunately, Park never forgot the caption. "I don't know why everybody's so excited for this new Jason Park. I've been doing these tricks for years," Park quoted.
Park said he was confused because he never talked to him again and only met him once but still called him out.
Then Gary Rogers called DeChesare on the phone and reprimanded him since he is good friends with Park, that's why the video was taken down.
Fast forward to fellow YouTube skater Dan Corrigan, DeChesare wonders why Park doesn't like him. "I don't know why he doesn't like me for no reason," Park quoted.
Park commented a lengthy response on Corrigan's video and explained why, then DeChesare called him on the phone and apologized. "I accepted his apology and I thought that was it," he said. He thought they squashed the beef.
Apparently, two days ago, on February 22, 2024, Park received a chat on his livestream that DeChesare called him a snitch even though they already settled their differences.
According to DeChesare, he wasn't even talking sh*t to Nigel Alexander (NKA Vids) on the SLAP message board. Hence, when Nigel confronted DeChesare that Park told him about what he said on SLAP, Dechasare denied the accusation.
Park needed to tell Nigel that DeChesare was talking mad trash about him and had receipts. "I don't think I was being a snitch or ratting him out or anything like that," Park said, since he is friends with Nigel.
