This 13-year-old just landed a trick that only pro skateboarder Geoff Rowley could pull off 24 years ago. That’s right, a kid is out here doing stuff the pros were sweating over decades ago.
Mei’s latest trick blew up after she boardslid a huge handrail that’s basically famous for being crazy hard.
Rowley was the only pro to conquer back in the day, and now Mei’s name is on that list. Core heads in the skateboarding world are losing it over this.
Thrasher Magazine's editor-in-chief Michael Burnett posted about it, calling it mind-blowing.
He was hyped seeing her throw down a gnarly boardslide that’s been feared for years.
He gave props to the other homies there, like Cody Long and Nyjah Huston, who were lucky enough to witness it live.
What’s wild is her age.
Most kids are still learning basics, trying little rails at their local spot, but Mei is out here taking on legendary handrails like it’s nothing.
Her style is clean, her timing is crazy, and she’s making it look really easy.
People can’t believe a 13-year-old is landing something that used to be legendary. She’s getting mad respect from everyone in the scene, and honestly, she deserves it.
