The April skateboards pro Yuto Horigome has defeated one of the highest-paid skateboarders in the world Nyjah Huston in the 2021 Street Skateboarding World Championships in Rome.
The 22-year-old dished out a nollie 270 noseslide nailing a 36.75 total score defeating Huston by 1 point. The blindside trick made Horigome received a 9.47 making him first place.
Huston on the other hand tried the nollie backside heelflip tailslide to fakie but was a bit sketchy making him generate a 9.27 score on his trick.
He wanted to land the 360 kickflip lipslide down a huge handrail but missed which resulted in Huston receiving silver.
Sora Shirai also tried his hardest landing a backside 180 to switch frontside crooked grind on his turn but only received 9.39 points placing him third.
Horigome held his nerve as the gold medalist for the 2021 street skateboarding world championships in Rome. His superb victory played a great role in the upcoming skateboarding Olympics.
