April Skateboards top-seeded professional skateboarder Yuto Horigome is officially the reigning, defending, and undisputed Olympic skateboarding champion.
The 25-year-old skateboarder from Japan has amazed everyone by winning his second consecutive Olympic gold medal in men’s street skateboarding.
His final trick earned him a near-perfect score of 97.08, securing his position as the champion once again.
Despite facing some tough competition from American skateboarders Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston, Horigome’s gnarly performance gave him the edge. The event at La Concorde Urban Park was filled with excitement, especially with Snoop Dogg adding to the intense competition.
The competition had a brief delay due to rain, but once the weather cleared up, it was a perfect day for skateboarding.
Horigome’s incredible back-to-back victories have established him as a true skateboarding legend and an Olympic champion, inspiring future skateboarders to aim high in the Olympics.
