The reigning, defending, undisputed Olympic world champion Yuto Horigome is still super pumped after grabbing his second consecutive Olympic gold medal at the Paris Games.

Looking back on his big win, Yuto expressed his joy and gratitude, saying, “We did it together, everyone! So stoked to clinch another Olympic gold. Can't believe it. Huge thanks to my fam, friends, and my team for backing me all the way! Your support got me through.”

For Horigome, the Olympics isn’t just a contest but a game-changer in his life. It takes him back to the roots of his love for skateboarding: “The sound of the board hitting the ground, grinding on the rail, and cruising through the city with friends—those moments mean the world to me.

I really cherish those times; they help me tackle any challenges I face!” With a shoutout to his journey, Yuto underlined his dedication to the sport: “I'll keep grinding and enjoying every skate session.” Here's to more epic skating moments and Olympic victories!

Horigome posted, "We did it together, everyone! I am so happy to achieve a second consecutive Olympic gold at the Paris Olympics. I still can’t believe it. Thank you to my family, friends and my team for supporting me until the very end! Because of everyone’s support, I was able to believe in myself and finish strong.
The Olympics is an incredibly special event to me and a huge turning point that changed my life, but the reason I fell in love with skateboarding is because of the sound the board makes when it kicks the ground and the sound it makes when you grind the rail, and the moments of skating with friends in the city also everything. I really enjoy those moments, and those moments allows me to overcome any challenges that I may face! I will continue to work hard and have fun skating🛹 @olympics @paris2024
