April Skateboards professional skateboarder and 2020 Olympic gold medalist Yuto Horigome has been partying a lot since becoming the Olympic champion.
He revealed that he was hungry practicing his smooth style and tricks just to snag the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympic championship.
Hence, after receiving the prestigious award, he all of a sudden been hanging out with professional photographer and new Vans brand curator Atiba Jefferson drinking Jägermeister, according to the champ.
"After the Olympics, I was like lot of partying going, I was like drinking, like months, like everyday tequila, Jäger with Atiba all that stuff, and then I couldn't not really skate like one week." Horigome explained, "I was tired super quick so like I was partying all the time."
Despite falling off the wagon, the 25-year-old still can go back skating hard in the streets and work on his God mode.
"I can still skate six times a week, I can still do it, but I just started recently," he said.
The Japanese pro skateboarder has an iron mind and he said that he can skate better with his focus.
However, he admitted that he can do it with his ability but couldn't continue that long. "I love it." He said, "I wanted to have this all the time but I can't have it all the time."
Horigome couldn't maintain the Piss Drunx lifestyle while annihilating every street spots like the Piss Drunx x Warner Ave crew back in the golden era of skateboarding.
He is now back to the skate-mamba mentality, and he knew that when he fell behind, he had to focus and get back to grinding.
