WKND Drops ‘Boardwatch’ as Skateboarding’s Funniest Crew Delivers Another Classic Skit

The WKND x Oblivion collection has arrived, and that means one thing for sure.

Another skit is here to make you laugh and remind you why WKND has carved out such a unique place in skateboarding. This time, they’re diving headfirst into lifeguard territory with Boardwatch, a spoof on Baywatch that might just be better than the real thing.

But what really keeps people coming back is their weird, hilarious, and strangely well-produced short films. It’s not about being polished. It’s about being original, funny, and just self-aware enough to keep it all grounded.

Boardwatch keeps that spirit alive. The collaboration with Oblivion surf shop brings the crew to the beach, where slow-motion runs, awkward line delivery, and offbeat humor all take over.

Of course, there’s skating too, but it’s the comedy that steals the spotlight. They’re not trying to be cool and that’s exactly what makes it work.

This latest clip feels like something made with friends on a weekend and somehow still comes off like a full-on production. The WKND crew has always had a way of pulling off the ridiculous in the most watchable way possible. Whether it’s fake detective stories or parody ads, they know how to get a laugh without trying too hard.
