You tell me you're in love with me. Like you can't take your pretty eyes away from me. It's not that I don't wanna stay. But every time you come too close, I move away.

Welcome Skateboards just announced a cool new Britney Spears collection that's causing a stir in the pop skateboard world.

It might seem unexpected, but for Welcome Skateboards, music has always been a big part of their style.

They're all about mixing dark and light vibes, like neon grunge and pastel punk. Fun fact – their early skate videos featured Britney's music, blending pop energy with their skate style.

This new collection isn't just a nod to a pop icon; it's a celebration of a legend who has influenced music, fashion, and pop culture for decades.

It's all about acknowledging how blending different influences, like punk and pop, can create something gnarly if you’re into this style.

Welcome Skateboards posted, "WE ARE LIVE! 🌹@britneyspears X @welcomeskateboards 🌹Link in bio🌹
For Welcome, music is the backbone of our culture and it permeates everything we do creatively. At first glance, the worlds of Welcome and pop music might seem miles apart. However, Welcome and Britney Spears are coming together in a unique collaboration that highlights an unexpected but deeply rooted connection.
From day one the aesthetic ethos of our brand has been about blending dark with light. Wild and intense imagery colored up in neons and pastels. A punk song back to back with a pop ballad in a skate video. Some of the earliest video edits from Welcome featured Britney Spears’ tracks which provided the perfect soundtrack for showcasing this boundary-free creative spirit and love for artistic juxtaposition.
This collection is more than an ode to our favorite pop star, it’s a celebration of a generational icon who has influenced music, fashion, and pop culture as a whole for decades, and the enduring resilience required to achieve that. It is a testament to the way different subcultures that may seem at odds can coexist and enrich one another."
