Achieving professional status is the highest level of success in skateboarding culture. However, professional skateboarder Weckingball breaks conventional norms by advocating a unique pathway to go pro the fastest way to start your your own skateboard company and turn yourself pro.

In a recent post by skater journalist Tim Pool, the Manny Busters creator advocated the info in the comments section, "If you sell one then you're a pro."

Unfortunately, some core skaters think that the status of being pro these days have no value anymore since everyone can start their own company and can just turn themselves as the pro rider for the brand.
