Legendary skateboard wheels company founded in 1998, Satori has been giving back not just to the skateboarding community but for the betterment of the environment.
The first and only skate company to recycle skateboard wheels recently relaunched its "Re-Life Program" to help eliminate the skate urethane from U.S. landfills.
"Satori again leads the pack in environmental efforts and bringing sustainability to skateboarding." They wrote. "Made from old skateboard wheels, the new Re-Life sets are made from 70% post-consumer material, and each set has a unique look due to the process involved."
"And of course they give you the same Satori quality ride. In this clip, Karl Watson shows off the process each wheels goes through in a classic "How Its Made" style. Roll in Harmony with the Earth!" They said.
Professional skateboarder and Satori top-seeder Karl Watson explain why it will help the skate scene and our surroundings.
"We have new wheels and less waste." He said. "We're not only reducing the amount of waste that gets sent off landfills but also creating a product that contains 70 post-consumer material."
