Big changes are happening in the corporate skateboarding world. As we previously reported, Volcom, Quiksilver, and Billabong are shutting down all their U.S. stores after their parent licensee company, Liberated Brands, went bankrupt.
But there’s some good news! Volcom has teamed up with The Levy Group for a fresh start.
The Levy Group has been around for over 80 years and knows the ins and outs of brand licensing.
They just announced they’ve grabbed Volcom and are bringing it into their lineup. The transition is already happening, and Volcom’s crew is settling into The Levy Group’s offices in Costa Mesa, California.
Volcom has been a staple in surf, skate, and snow culture for ages, so while the store closures sucked, this new partnership could be just what they need.
The Levy Group already works with brands like ROXY, Spyder Active Sports, and DAKINE, so they get the whole action sports going on.
Bringing Volcom on board might lead to some exciting new products and collaborations.
With 2025 around the corner, everyone’s curious about what will come next for Volcom under The Levy Group.
Even though the retail scene is shifting, it looks like the brand is still in the game and ready for whatever’s next.
