World-class skateboarding shoe company Vans in the Philippines has released a new fascinating video about the Lucid Crew Movement's story regarding the clique's unique approach to skating, building their skatepark, and bolstered comradeship.
The Filipino skateboarding crew is not just a regular squad but, it's a group of skateboarders motivated to a higher purpose.
"Lucid is just a movement. It's to promote play in an underutilized place, besides anything. It's just about expressing yourself and not having any judgment." Team member Paolo Escudero says.
Lucid Crew Movement arranged meetings where key people addressed the approach needed to revamp their skate spot.
The crew struggled in their first attempt to build their obstacles but, that didn't stop them from progressing from building concrete manual pads to a quarter ramp.
