Professional skateboarder Tyson Bowerbank has officially parted ways with skate legend Rodney Mullen's skateboard company, Almost skateboards.
Since turning pro and globally ranked at 47, the 28-year-old did everything to provide value to his sponsors by skating hard in the streets and giving them brand awareness. Hence, he needed to seek a different avenue to grow.
Bowerbank took to Instagram and said. "My time skating for Almost skateboards has officially come to a close. I want to say thank you for all the years of support, and all the great memories."
He added. "It's been a pleasure to work and skate with such amazing people, I'm forever grateful to everyone on the team, I love you all and I'll see you real soon!"
More pro skaters leave their sponsors at the beginning of 2023 to start a new journey. We wish Bowerbank the best and nothing but success.
Some pros start their new brand, and some stay as free agents, but we will keep you guys posted on his next move.
