Professional skateboarder Trevor Colden is grieving the loss of his older brother Sean, sharing a deeply personal post about the pain of losing a member of his family.
The 32-year-old opened up about the devastating loss, explaining that he is struggling to process what happened and that the reality of his brother being gone still does not feel real.
Trevor remembered Sean as an amazing person and loving family man who had a genuinely good heart.
He also described him as someone people could always rely on and have by their side.
Along with the grief, Trevor spoke about how difficult it will be to live without his brother.
He wishes he could hear his voice, spend more time with him, and have the chance to share the simple moments that are now gone.
The Virginia Beach native also found some comfort in believing that his brother is now in a better place and reunited with their mother.
The loss has got Trevor heartbroken, with the pro skater saying he will carry the memory of his brother with him for the rest of his life.
Trevor ended his message by expressing his love for his brother and saying goodbye until they meet again.

You were an amazing person, a loving family man, and one of the most good-hearted people I’ve ever known. You were someone anyone would want on their side.
I don’t know how I’m supposed to accept a world without you in it. But I know you’re in a better place now, and I find some comfort knowing you’re with Mom.I’m going to miss you for the rest of my life. I wish I could have one more hug, one more conversation, one more moment with you.
