Ed Templeton's Toy Machine Skateboards has been in the game since 1996, which paved the way in street skateboarding after releasing their gnarly video "Welcome to Hell."
Professional skateboarders Jamie Thomas, Brian Anderson, Elissa Steamer, Donny Barley, Mike Maldonado, Satva Leung, and Chad Muska were an integral part of the crew, which they annihilated every street spot.
However, controversy happened when Muska's footage was removed from the video, leading him to run amok in the premiere.
The legendary situation made Toy Machine even bigger due to word of mouth in the back end of the full-length skate video. Muska got kicked off after filming a whole part, and they cut his part from the video.
Despite all the madness, Templeton never gave up, even after his team quit to pursue their professional skateboarding career at different companies.
To this day, Toy Machine remains one of the OG core brands that still exist and deserves a collaboration with streetwear giant Supreme.
