Red Bull skateboarding profiles their top-seeded professional skateboarder Torey Pudwill on their new segment for skater-owned and operated businesses called "This Is GOOD WORK."
T-Puds invited Red Bull for an exclusive look at how he runs his business at the Thank You skateboards headquarters.
The 31-year-old pro skater started his brand Thank You skateboards to invigorate the skate scene with his long-time friend Daewon Song out of a warehouse in Simi Valley, CA.
Five years later, their business became prosperous, and skaters were seeing the happy cloud logo show up at every skatepark in the country, often paired with some Grizzly Griptape too, another one of Pudwill's successful business ventures.
As time goes by, T-Puds started to take an interest in how the business worked in the skateboarding industry as he didn't understand it before until he realized that he wanted to start his own business.
"I wanted to start it from scratch. I wanted to do it on my own because I had a vision of how would I run a business. T-Puds explained. "Thank you wasn't something that I wanted to start to get rich from. It wasn't something I wanted to start to make the biggest company out there.
His goal is to be accepted by skateboarding and have the brand become a staple in the game to let the people know that Thank you skateboards is here to stay.
Watch the video below, and make sure to share it with your friends who like to start their own brands and get motivated to grow their businesses. Enjoy!
