Skate legend Tony Hawk recently met hip hop legends Del the Funky Homosapien and Kelvin "Posdnuos" Mercer of De La Soul at a Gorillaz show.

He shared how both artists shaped his musical taste over the past 30 years and appeared on the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater soundtracks.

He also thanked Jamie Hewlett for making the meeting happen through their collaborations.

"Del + De La! It was an honor to finally meet these hip hop heroes last night at the @gorillaz show. Both have greatly influenced my musical tastes for the last 30+ years, and - by no coincidence - were both featured on THPS soundtracks. Thanks to @hewll for connecting the dots through fantastical collaborations."
