Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk just made it official - he’s teaming up with Skullcandy, and he couldn’t be more stoked (or at least, his kids couldn’t).

In a post on social media, Birdman announced his new partnership with the audio brand, joking that the best part is having an unlimited supply of headphones and speakers since his kids keep "borrowing" his.

For anyone who’s been around skateboarding long enough, this move makes total sense.

Skullcandy has been a staple in the scene for years, known for their bass-heavy sound and designs that fit right in at the skatepark.

The Birdhouse CEO, on the other hand, is the guy who made skateboarding a household name. It’s a natural fit - music and skateboarding have always gone hand in hand, whether it’s blasting tunes before a session, soundtracking a video part, or just zoning out on the way to a spot.

While details on what this collaboration will look like are still under wraps, it’s safe to say Skullcandy landed a legend.

Maybe we’ll see some signature headphones, custom graphics, or even a playlist curated by Hawk himself. Whatever’s coming, one thing is clear—his kids won’t be running out of gear anytime soon.

Birdman Posted:

"I’ve officially joined the loud and proud crew over at @skullcandy! The most exciting part about this partnership is that it means unlimited Skullcandy headphones and speakers since my kids won’t stop stealing (aka “borrowing”) mine. 💀🎧🛹"
