The 63-year-old triple OG and Z-Boy deity Tony Alva is the latest professional skater to become the subject of the upcoming documentary on Vans.
Alva is one of the pioneers in the 70's that is well-known in skating pools. Cutting his way into the history of skateboarding with a single slash translates to the defining aspect of attitude into motion and character into his legacy. Alva is the only one that is still shredding in his professional career that is considered as the godfather of skateboarding to this day.
The new documentary of Vans chronicles Alva's true beginnings of menace, craft hovering through his struggles and turning Dogtown into a fearless lifestyle along with the Zephyr skateboarding team.
