Professional skateboarder TJ Rogers is officially out of Mike Mo’s upcoming Professional Skateboarding League after undergoing shoulder surgery, and it is a tough break for both him and the Wolverines.
He was selected as round 4 pick 3 for the PSL team, and a lot of people were excited to see what he would bring to the roster.
That excitement quickly turned into concern once news of the injury came out.
According to PSL, Rogers will be sidelined for the rest of the season while he focuses on recovery.
The league shared the update on social media, wishing him well and confirming that the injury required surgery.
Shoulder issues are no joke in skateboarding, and taking the time to heal properly is clearly the priority right now.
As much as fans wanted to see him compete, health always comes first.
The timing is rough, especially since Rogers was locked in as part of the Wolverines lineup.
With him out, attention has shifted to what happens next for the team.
PSL also asked who Chris Joslin should choose to fill the open spot, which has already sparked plenty of discussion online.
Everyone has their own idea of who would be a good fit, and it will be interesting to see who ends up stepping in.
For now, the focus stays on Rogers getting better and coming back when he is ready. Injuries are part of skating, even at the highest level, and seasons do not always go as planned.
Skateboarders are sending support his way, hoping for a smooth recovery and a strong return down the line.
