Back in 2005, The Boonies skateboarding head honcho Tim Pool used to be a team manager at the X Games at 18 years old and has been skateboarding for decades.
When he was younger, he used to hang out and skate with former Zero Skateboards professional skateboarder Marissa Dal Santo, and they used to attend the X Games events.
Pool admitted to talking a bunch of crap but ended up changing his ways after meeting many pro skaters who were nice, realizing he shouldn't behave that way anymore.
He pointed out that Gifted Hater is a scourge who has been hating on skaters and even professional skateboarders, encouraging the Gifties to spread hate online.
As previously reported, Embarcadero legend Dr. Andrew Huberman mentioned that toxic commenters are genuinely unwell. He explained that envy is harmful and that hatred towards others is a form of mental illness.
This led Pool to call out Gifted Hater, stating, "Skateboarding's got to be fun, got to be for everybody, and that's what it's supposed to be."
He further explained that people reached out to him because a local skatepark was empty and nobody was skating anymore as it was closing down. He wondered and asked how he could help, but the issue was that nobody was skating—the park was empty.
"I'm like, 'Wow, so we need to get kids skating,'" Pool said. "But how are you going to do that when you have people like this (Gifted Hater) who are intentionally hateful, hurtful, spiteful, and nasty, who lie, cheat, and steal, causing nothing but annoyance, pain, and frustration?"
