Pro skater and journalist Tim Pool has never been one to slow down, even when his body tells him to.
The Boonies Skateboards boss recently shared that he landed in the hospital after his throat nearly swelled shut.
Despite being told by doctors to take it easy, Tim admitted that he kept working through the sickness, which only made things worse.
In a post to his followers, he wrote that he had not been this sick in years and had hoped to bounce back quickly.
Unfortunately, he kept working and it only made him feel worse.
The doctor told him to just rest, but Pool kept sneaking in work anyway instead of actually giving his body a break.
Since he almost never takes a break from his projects, actually being forced to rest was a big change for him.
He said he spent the past several days in bed, trading his usual workload for a long list of horror movies.

"I Haven't gotten this sick in years but hopefully I am able to get back tomorrow.
Went to the hospital with my throat nearly swollen shut.
Doc said I was sick and kept working and just made things worse. Needed to actually rest but I kept trying to work.
Spent the past several days in bed watching every horror movie on the planet."
