It’s been a while since Tim Pool introduced the "De Trans Flip," and skaters are still talking about it.

The Boonies’ pro skater-journalist first showed off the move inside his private training facility before taking it to social media.

“The Detrans Flip,” he posted, keeping the details minimal. He later added, “If we told you the name of this trick, we’d get cancelled on Instagram.”

Despite the online hating, the real takeaway is that the trick itself isn’t easy. Those who’ve seen it in action agree. It takes serious control to flip and catch properly.

Some skateboarders have tried to break it down, but landing it clean remains a challenge due to it's gnarliness.

No matter if the name of the flip trick sticks or not, one thing's for sure: Pool brought something new to the skateboard world. So, who do you think will be the next to pull it off?
