Thrasher magazine has released a new video segment called "Create and Destroy," featuring the most gnarly skate artist Nasty Neckface.
With Thrasher and Neckface being creative in art or skateboarding in general, the intended content of the newly gnarly segment protracted confidence for all viewership.
The 37-year-old artist voiced out his thoughts on dropping out of art school and being himself by following what he truly believes.
Neckface said that some of the people in his school went there for the wrong reasons, just for the grading system or credits to show they went to college.
His departure from college made him one of the greatest graffiti artists in the world, as he explained being authentic in the streets of New York got him the career he always wanted.
As a skateboarder, Nasty neck skated in the streets and tagged his art all over New York. He all of a sudden got traction with magazines' trying to get a hold of him about his artworks.
The Stockton, California native provided gems and said. "Go out there and get your own shit and figure out what you like."
It will take time for an artist to monetize their craft, but that shouldn't stop anyone from being creative and do what they love.
