Professional skateboarders Steve Berra and Eric Koston's website The Berrics has been suspended.
The closure comes after Berra's admission of financial struggles, revealing the challenges faced by the Los Angeles go-to-skatepark and its co-owners.
As we previously reported, Berra disclosed that their rent soared to $105,000, dealing a severe blow to The Berrics' financial stability.
Left with no alternative, Berra and his business partner, Eric Koston, were compelled to seek a new location for their skatepark. The duo, however, remained tight-lipped about the specifics of their relocation.
During a recent Nine Club podcast, Berra admitted to the challenges; he said establishing a new Berrics would take time.
The financial setback has impacted their physical skatepark and delayed plans for new video production.
As a result, The Berrics website has been suspended. Sources close to the technical side of the site have revealed that non-payment is the culprit behind the abrupt shutdown.
Failure to meet financial obligations, including hosting fees, domain renewal, and add-on services, has ceased the website's operations.
