Pro skater Terry Kennedy is back in the streets on his skateboard and skaters are already hyped on his return.
After spending five years incarcerated, TK has been steadily reappearing through clips and posts that show him skating hard and looking focused.
It feels like a reset for someone who was once everywhere in skateboarding and then suddenly gone from the public eye.
Recently his Instagram presence has shifted, with new management stepping in to handle the account.
From the outside, it looks like TK is keeping his attention on getting better and staying consistent, while a team he trusts looks after the brand side of things.
The posts are more structured now, with clear messages about what is coming next and who is involved.
One of the biggest updates is that TK is reportedly launching a new company called TK Skateboarding Company.
The brand is being built with a small leadership group around him. The COO is @flyerthanusual, the Vice President is @bigdawghunnid, and the President is @skin_titesosa.
Each of them has shared their own statements through the account, giving a clearer idea of what they want this company to stand for.
According to the COO, the foundation of the brand comes straight from Terry Kennedy himself. It is about raw talent, confidence, and a mindset that never waited for approval. The roots of the brand trace back to the streets of Long Beach, where Terry first made a name for himself. The message is clear that this company is not about fitting in or following trends, but about moving ahead on its own terms and staying true to street skating and the culture around it.
The COO also said that the team plans to take full control over how the brand operates and how its story is told. That includes the product, the skaters involved, and the creative direction. The goal is to keep everything authentic and grounded in real skating, without watering things down to please outsiders.
"As COO of TK Skateboarding Company, I stand on everything Terry Kennedy built from the ground up—raw talent, relentless confidence, and a mindset that never asked for permission.
TK was built in the streets of Long Beach. It represents pushing forward when others say slow down, taking real risk, and turning doubt into momentum.
This company was never meant to blend in. It exists to lead its lane and redefine what’s possible in skateboarding and culture.
Moving forward, we are taking full operational and creative control of our product, our team, and our narrative. No compromises. No dilution of skate culture. Only authentic skating, real progression, and disciplined execution. @flyerthanusual"
The VP also shared his thoughts as he steps into the role of Brand Manager. His message focused on respect for where the brand comes from and being ready to put in serious work. He pointed back to Long Beach as the place that raised the brand and the streets as the place that shaped it. He made a point of saying this is not about corporate skateboarding, but about real life experiences, real pavement, and the marks that come with it.
"I’m stepping into my role as Brand Manager for TK Skateboard Company with respect for where this comes from and zero fear of the work ahead. Long Beach raised this brand. The streets shaped it. This isn’t corporate skateboarding this is real life, real pavement, real scars. #Gratitude #BlackonBoard @bigdawghunnid"
The most recent post came from the President of TK Skateboarding Company. His message was more personal and direct, talking about leadership, integrity, and accountability. He described his approach as someone who works every day with a clear goal in mind, stressing that effort and consistency matter. He also mentioned faith, asking for blessings on the road ahead, especially when it comes to rehabilitation and redemption. The post closed with strong references to loyalty, Oakland roots, and representing the Bay Area with pride.

Seeing TK skating again and surrounding himself with a team that believes in him feels meaningful for longtime fans. There is a sense that this next chapter is being handled with more care and intention. Instead of rushing announcements, the brand is being introduced piece by piece, through the voices of the people involved.
For now, the focus seems simple. Skate, stay grounded, and build something that reflects where it all started. If the clips and statements are any indication, TK Skateboarding Company is aiming to be an honest extension of TK and the streets that shaped him.
