As we previously reported, Violet boss William Strobeck has teased their upcoming project with Supreme dropping bombs with the "hashtag Shanghai" without exactly saying anything about a new location.
VF Corp's Supreme has now taken to Instagram and announced its new store opening in Shanghai with Strobeck's new teaser skateboarding video featuring the Two-time Skater Of The Year Tyshawn Jones, FA/Hockey's Ben Kadow, and Violet pro Troy Gipson.
China has been the mecca of skateboarding, and professional skateboarders have traveled there due to its insane landscape, smooth flooring, and massive handrails and stair sets.
It has been featured in numerous video parts such as Stay Gold, Pretty Sweet, Strange World, and more.
Supreme's entrance into the Chinese market will likely lead to a crackdown on fake market spree, similar to the legal action taken against the knock-off Supreme Italia brand, resulting in the imprisonment of the father-and-son masterminds for eight years.
Supreme posted, "Shanghai, 2024
Supreme Shanghai and Supreme WeChat Mini Program open on March 23rd at 10 am."
