There were rumors in the skateboarding community that professional skateboarder Stefan Janoski sold his name to Nike Inc. to become rich after the popularity of his skate shoes outside the skateboarding culture.

Back on Oct 10, 2013, on skate legend Tony Hawk's RIDE Channel segment "Free Lunch," Janoski cleared the issue and said, "It's that dumb fake news reporter kid dude. All he does is not know anything about anything. He talks about a situation he's so uninvolved in and tells people stuff he doesn't know about and they go, oh really? That must be true because, I don't know it's on the internet."

However, fast forward to 2024 with the release of his Epicly Later'd episode on Vice's YouTube channel, the 44-year-old never mentioned Gary Rogers' name since the Skate Line Host NBD has already proved that he is the OG of skateboarding commentary and is employed by the skate bible Thrasher.

Janoski also said that he tried selling his name but ended up not getting any offers.

Watch Janoski's Epicly Later'd below if you haven't already. Enjoy!
