This December marks a momentous occasion for metalheads worldwide as Metal Blade Records celebrates the 40th anniversary of Slayer's groundbreaking album, "Show No Mercy."

To honor the iconic release that kickstarted a legendary career, Metal Blade is set to unleash two special reissues, offering fans a chance to own a piece of thrash metal history.

The first of the two reissues, the "Show No Mercy 40th Anniversary Edition," comes in a meticulously designed slipcase with gold hot-foil embossing, setting the tone for the following premium quality.

The Gold Black Dust LP has been masterfully crafted for vinyl, meticulously engineered from the original master tapes by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony in May 2023. This ensures listeners experience the timeless thrash metal sound in all its glory.

True to the spirit of celebrating four decades of "Show No Mercy," Metal Blade includes a 12" LP booklet, a slipmat, a poster, show flyers, and a signing card in the anniversary edition.

These additions pay homage to the album and provide fans with a tangible connection to the era that defined a genre.

For the most dedicated Slayer fans, The record label introduces a scarce and collectible item - the LIMITED Edition blood-filled liquid vinyl.

Limited to only 250 copies worldwide, this edition adds a unique and macabre twist to the commemorative release.

The blood-filled vinyl serves as a testament to the band's visceral and unapologetic style and elevates the anniversary celebration to a whole new level.
