Tip 1: Wear the appropriate skate brands
Make sure to wear Supreme at all times, flash it until someone will recognize that you are a true skate pogi. It’s going to be so amazing that non-skateboarders will think that you are so cool – don’t forget to include Palace on the mix and especially Thrasher to be the most outstanding skater in the crowd.
Tip 2: Remain calm and under control
Always keep in mind that nobody is going to outshine you. You are the coolest skate pogi in the world and you should never forget that – chill and make sure that you talk to the homies and tell them your new clothes or new set up that you just bought.
Tip 3: Buy brand new skate shoes and let homies use it to have it damaged
That’s right! You need to be nice to all of the homies and let them use your skate shoes so it won’t look brand new. Having skate shoes that were never used in skating isn’t cool so get ready to tell the homies that they can wear it for a week or two and return them to you so people will think that you skated on them.
Tip 4: Go to the skate sessions and just sit
Tell the homeboys that you just rolled your ankle and you are on a verge to skate but not really. Pretend that you’re injured so once they are resting for a couple of minutes you can bust an ollie - ensure that they see that you are hurting and not having in trouble with the trick. Smoke cigarettes and judge everyone on their tricks.
Tip 5: Take a lot of selfies and post it on social media
Add hashtags on your post, establish that you are 100% skateboarder to the public together with your skate pogi gears. Last but not the least cool skaters don’t just take selfies – they also go home early because they are so tired skating the whole day and of course they had a hangover so more excuses the better.
