Skateboarding is one of those activities that doesn’t have a clear path to victory. It’s a creative process in which you manipulate your body. Tricks are just a name in which you define what you do on a skateboard outside of riding it.

Riding the board even just for five minutes will get you addicted. It brings everyone together no matter where they are from and, it offers a shared interest for people to build friendships.

Skating is a way to reduce social barriers, experience camaraderie, and collaborate with others to create meaningful experiences. Skateboarding will attract skaters of every age, race, gender, and economic background.

Skateboarding offers intellectual benefits. Practicing new tricks is a great way to learn creativity, perseverance, and resilience to failure. Often, skateboarders will attempt a single maneuver hundreds of times before landing it.

Sometimes skateboarding can be a controversial activity, but it depends on how you perceive it. Just go skate and have fun!
